FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The event is open to students, security enthusiasts, and working professionals with an interest in cybersecurity, penetration testing, and digital forensics. Both beginners and experienced CTF players are welcome.
Bring your laptop, power adapter/charger, valid student/government ID, registration confirmation email, and your preferred CTF tools (Kali Linux / WSL / VMs pre-installed). A backup mobile hotspot is highly recommended.
Yes! We have designed challenges spanning multiple difficulty tiers, starting from STABLE (Tier 01) up to EXTINCTION (Tier 05). Even if this is your first CTF, there will be approachable web, crypto, and forensics tasks.
Challenges award points upon submitting valid flags. We utilize dynamic scoring where points adjust according to the number of solves. In case of ties, the team with the earliest submission time ranks higher.
No prior CTF experience is strictly required, though familiarity with basic Linux commands, web technologies, and security concepts will be helpful. Team collaboration is encouraged!
Onsite Wi-Fi and designated local CTF network infrastructure will be provided. However, we advise all teams to carry a backup mobile 4G/5G personal hotspot for uninterrupted connectivity.
Late check-in is permitted until 10:30 AM, but missing the mission briefing at 09:30 AM will put your team at a tactical disadvantage. Please try to arrive before 09:00 AM.
